Editorial policy
Grand Cinema Guide aims to be accurate, independent and clear about the difference between what a film shows and what we infer from it. We welcome corrections and revise copy when a genuine error is found.
Accuracy and interpretation
We check names, credits and factual claims against suitable information before publication. Interpretive writing is presented as an argument, not a fact that every viewer must accept. When a detail is uncertain or disputed, we say so rather than smoothing over the uncertainty.
Independence
Editorial decisions belong to the publication. A review, essay or recommendation is not a promise of praise, and contributors should disclose relevant interests so they can be considered before work is accepted.
Corrections
Readers can use the Contact page to flag a possible error, naming the article and the detail in question. We assess correction requests and make changes when warranted; significant corrections are identified in the affected article.
Partners and illustrations
Paid or partner material is labelled clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when they are, the image is identified as such.
